Liturgy & Worship
Serving God through sacred music and ministry
Our liturgical ministers bring beauty, reverence and dignity to every Mass. Whether in song, service or word, all are invited to offer their gifts at the altar of God.

ALTAR SERVERS
This ministry has an important place in the life of the Parish. Altar Servers add to the smooth running and dignity of all our services, reminding us that we are not spectators at Mass but active participants in the celebration of the mysteries of faith. New Servers who have received their First Holy Communion are warmly welcomed and a short course of training is provided.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY — LITTLE & JUNIOR CHURCH
Children of the parish are warmly invited to join one of two groups for their own liturgy at the 9:15am Mass on Sundays. The children gather in Church at the beginning of Mass, go out to their liturgy in the Parish Centre, and return at the Offertory. Parents are welcome to join with their youngest children until they are confident to stay by themselves.

WELCOMERS & STEWARDS
Welcomers and Stewards greet people as they arrive at weekend Masses and some of the busier services in the Liturgical Year. They hand out books and newsletters, show people to seats if needed, answer questions and help with the offertory collection. We have teams on a 2 or 3 weekly rota for each Mass. To be a welcomer you just need a friendly smile and to arrive 15 minutes early for Mass!
