Nurturing the faith of the next generation
St Alban's has a vibrant and growing community of young people. From Brownies and Guides to Youth Group and school links, there is plenty for children and teenagers to get involved in.

Rainbows

Ages 5-7

For girls aged 5–7, meeting in the Parish Centre on Mondays. Rainbows have fun, play games, make things and learn — both in and out of doors. Part of Central and Sutton District, Middlewood Division.

Brownies

Ages 7-10

For girls aged 7–10, meeting in the Parish Centre on Mondays. Brownies have fun, play games and go on adventures. Part of Central and Sutton District, Middlewood Division.

POST-CONFIRMATION YOUTH GROUP

AGES 13 AND ABOVE

For those who have been confirmed and others, there is a youth group for ages 13 and upwards meeting at Savio House on Friday evenings from 6:00pm – 8:30pm, usually twice a month. Activities include pool, air hockey, table tennis, chatting and in the summer netball, badminton, 5-a-side and walks to White Nancy — all followed by a 30-minute reflection and then pizza! Occasional trips include Formby Beach, Flame Catholic Festival at Wembley Arena and the Derbyshire Dales.

Two Hearts Junior Prayer Group

PARENTS WELCOME

Meeting every Friday during term time from 3:30–4:00pm at the school. Children gather to pray the Holy Rosary and offer their own personal intentions and thanks to God.
