Raising money to help CAFOD fund a Health Clinic for a poor third world village
An auction of promises: what is it? .... ..... The auctioneer gets people to bid for items on sale and slams down his hammer to confirm the sale to the highest bidder. He may say going, going, gone. But it’s not essential. What is essential is that he has things to sell. This is where the promises come in. Your promises. What promises could be sold? As many as the people making them. Here’s some examples from earlier auctions of this sort.
