fund a Health Clinic for

a poor third world village

 

An auction of promises:

 what is it? ....

..... The auctioneer gets people to bid for items on sale and slams down his hammer to confirm the sale to the highest bidder. He may say going, going, gone. But it’s not essential.

What is essential is that he has things to sell. This is where the promises come in. Your promises.

What promises could be sold? As many as the people making them.  Here’s some examples from earlier auctions of this sort.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some PROMISES to set you thinking.

Be a butler, cook, waiter for your party

Clean your car, silverware

Cut your hedge, lawn

Drive you, your family, to the shops, airport

□ Give you and friends a geology lesson about local landscape

□ Help solve computer problems

Knit a sweater, baby jacket

Offer you a week/weekend  in our caravan/holiday home

Start you off with a lesson in a language or a musical instrument

Teach you to cook a speciality dish
